『Big Walk』『007 ファーストライト』が「Golden Joystick Awards 2026」で最多タイとなる5部門でノミネート。『プラグマタ』『ぽこ あ ポケモン』など国内発タイトルもさまざまな部門で選出

今年で44回目の開催となる国際的なゲームアワード「Golden Joystick Awards 2026」が、現在一般投票を受付中だ。期間は10月23日まで。

本アワードでは「Best Indie Game」「Console Game of the Year」「Best Multiplayer Game」「Best Soundtrack」など21の部門でノミネート作品が公開されている。なお、10月26日には「Ultimate Game of the Year」のノミネート作が発表されると同時に投票がスタートし、11月11日に授賞式が執り行われる予定だ。

「Golden Joystick Awards」は1983年に創設されたゲームアワードで、ノミネート作品から世界中のゲームファンによる投票を経て表彰が行われる。2025年の開催時には『エクスペディション33』が「Ultimate Game of the Year」に選ばれた。

2026年のノミネート作品を見てみると、マルチプレイヤーオープンワールド探索ゲーム『Big Walk』とスパイアクションアドベンチャーゲーム『007 ファーストライト』が作品としては本アワードで最多タイとなる5部門で選出。また、『バイオハザード レクイエム』が国内タイトルでは最多となる3部門でノミネートされた。

ほかにも「Console Game of the Year」部門に『プラグマタ』『ぽこ あ ポケモン』『ファイアーエムブレム 万紫千紅』がノミネートされ、他部門でも『めっちゃカメレオン』『ストレンジャー ザン ヘヴン』『リズム天国 ミラクルスターズ』など、多数の作品が名を連ねている。

さらにゲームを原作とする映像作品を表彰する「Best Game Adaptation」部門では、二宮和也さんが主演を務めた映画『8番出口』がノミネートされた。
