日本時間11月21日午前1時00分より配信されたゲーム表彰イベント「Golden Joystick Awards 2025」にて、ノミネートタイトルの受賞発表が行われた。
2025年のアルティメット・ゲーム・オブ・ザ・イヤーには、ノミネートされた5部門すべてで受賞し、ベストリードパフォーマーとベストサポーティングパフォーマーも受賞した『エクスペディション33』が輝いた。
同イベントは、40年以上の歴史と権威を持つ国際的なゲームアワード。選出されたノミネート作品の一覧から、世界中のゲームファンによる投票を経て各賞が表彰される。2024年は『Black Myth: Wukong（黒神話:悟空）』がアルティメット・ゲーム・オブ・ザ・イヤーに輝いた。
今年の「Golden Joystick Awards 2025」では、10月3日よりベストストーリーテリングやビジュアルデザインなど21部門のノミネート作品が発表。一般投票が10月31日まで開始されていた。
