「マイクラ」風サンドボックスゲーム『Hytale』は11月22日、公式Xアカウントにて、『Hytale』通常版を約20ドルで販売する予定であることを発表した。

今回価格が発表されたのは『Hytale』早期アクセス版で、「Standard」「Supporter」「Founders」の3つのエディションが登場する。もっとも安価な「Standard」エディションは約20ドルでの販売を予定。開発チームを支援したい方向けに、「Supporter」エディションは約35ドル、「Founders」エディションは約70ドルで提供される。
「Supporter」「Founders」エディションにはケープや帽子など複数のコスメティックアイテムが同梱されているようだ。

Simon氏は自身のＸアカウントにて、「現在の『Hytale』は4年前のビルドを使用しており、あまり高い料金を取るのは適切ではない」「ゲームを良いものにするために全力で取り組む。早期アクセスには可能な限り多くのプレイヤーに参加してほしい」と語っている。
『Hytale』は2018年に正式発表されていたサンドボックスRPGで、2020年にライアットゲームズに買収され、長期開発が続いていたが、2025年6月に開発中止が発表されていた。
しかし2025年11月18日、共同創設者のSimon氏は自身のXアカウントにて、ライアットゲームズから権利を買い戻して開発を再開したことを発表した。
『Hytale』開発チームは、今後も新たな映像や画像を順次公開していくとのこと。早期アクセス版のリリース日については、近日公開される予定だ。
